The Everpure 4FC is the high-capacity flagship of the Everpure carbon block lineup. At 37,000 liters — nearly double the H-300’s capacity — it is the go-to filter for high-volume coffee shops, busy restaurants, and post-mix soda fountain systems that cannot afford downtime.

The 4FC uses the same 79mm bayonet as the H-300 and H-104, but with a denser carbon block that achieves 37,000 liters in the same 10-inch form factor. The 4FC-L extends capacity to 55,000 liters in a 12.5-inch body — same diameter, fits the same QL3B head.

OEM-Compatible 4FC: Key Quality Checks
- Carbon block density. Original 4FC achieves 37,000L in a 10” body with an ultra-dense carbon block. The compatible must match this density — a lighter block will exhaust faster.
- Flow rate at pressure. Must deliver 5.7 L/min at 60 psi. Test at factory before shipment — low flow = insufficient carbon porosity or blocked end-cap.
- Pressure drop. At 5.7 L/min, pressure drop should be <15 psi. Higher drop means the carbon block is too dense or the end-cap port is undersized.
- No channeling. Dense carbon blocks are prone to micro-cracks during molding. Every cartridge should be flow-tested, not just spot-checked.
- Extended O-ring life. The 4FC stays in service 9–12 months. O-ring material must be EPDM (not standard NBR) to prevent hardening and bypass leaks over time.
